Who pays?
Nearly all Dot to Dot workshops are free to participants when they take part, but Dot to Dot is a professional company, so the artists and administrators who work with us have to be paid. Therefore, despite receiving some revenue support, Dot to Dot needs to charge for its services. This can be done by:
- Dot to Dot applying for funds to pay for the work (which is then offered free to community groups, because someone else has funded the work.)
- Organisations paying with their own funds
- Dot to Dot working with a group or organisation to help them apply for funding to pay for the work
- Organisations apply for funds to commission Dot to Dot to work with them
Fees charged are in line with the lower range of Arts Council England’s suggested rates for artists.
